Musubu Recipes Terms of Use

These terms set out the conditions for using the iOS app “Musubu Recipes” (musubuレシピ, the “App”) provided by Yuta Ishiyama (the “Developer”). By using the App you agree to these terms.

1. What the App does

The App structures recipes from videos, web pages, photos, PDFs and text that you specify, and provides a cooking plan for making several dishes at the same time (the combined timeline), meal plans and shopping lists. Structuring is done automatically by generative AI, so ingredients, amounts, steps and estimated nutrition may contain errors. When cooking, check the original source and use your own judgement.

2. Imported content

Copyright in imported content belongs to its respective owners. The App is intended for your own private cooking use and provides no feature for redistributing imported recipes to third parties.
You may import only content you are entitled to view. Any dispute with a third party arising from an import is your responsibility to resolve.
The App keeps a link to the original source of each recipe and recommends checking the source.

3. Free plan and Premium

On the free plan you can import up to 5 recipes per month, keep up to 30 recipes in your library, and combine up to 2 dishes in the timeline. Nutrition estimates, Cook Mode, meal plans and shopping lists are free.
Premium (an auto-renewing subscription, monthly or yearly) removes the limits on imports, library size and the combined timeline, and adds bulk import of playlists.
An import counts toward your allowance only when it succeeds. Imports that fail, or re-imports of content you already imported, do not count.
After Premium ends, only the 30 most recent recipes in your library remain available; the rest are locked (not deleted) until you subscribe again.
Purchases, renewals, cancellations and refunds of the subscription are handled through Apple’s App Store under Apple’s terms. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase.

4. Prohibited conduct

Unauthorized access to the App’s servers or API, or automated bulk importing far beyond normal household use
Modifying, reverse engineering or redistributing the App
Use that violates laws or public order and morals

5. Changes and discontinuation

The Developer may change the App or suspend or end the service without prior notice. If Premium is discontinued, any remaining paid period will be handled under Apple’s terms.

6. Disclaimer

The App is provided “as is”. The Developer is not responsible for the accuracy of recipe contents, the results of cooking, estimated nutrition values, or health effects such as allergies. Except in cases of the Developer’s willful misconduct or gross negligence, the Developer is not liable for damages arising from use of the App.

7. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction in the first instance over any dispute concerning the App.
